ABOUT
SOS HUMANITY: EARTH’S LAST DISTRESS SIGNAL (SOS HUMANITY for short) is a musical-narrative sketch-comedy series by Peripheral Friend Productions. Through the pandemic, creator Kegan Witzki wanted to find any signs of hope from the sense of impending apocalypse in the news. And then he thought, “what if the end of the world already happened, but one positive person sensed it out all work out?”
The show spans the genres of science fiction, storytelling, and musical sketch comedy. Inspired by the satirical genre-specific narratives of Love, Sex and Robots and Parks and Recreation, our host, Chip Reynolds, guides us optimistically through navigating the best and worst of what it means to be human. Filled with gut-punching jokes and an honest, bipartisan view of society, our Chip reminds us that although humanity can suck, there’s always hope.
